Hills Replacement Cladding System

Hills buildings were popular in the 40's and 50's for schools and similar buildings. A steel frame is clad with concrete panels. Unfortunately many panels are now showing significant deterioration because of corroding reinforcement bars.

Genesis Composites are now able to supply a proven replacement cladding panel system for Hills Buildings owners. The old concrete panels are taken off the outside of the building and replaced with specially developed panels made from insulated GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic).

Our specially designed panels can be fixed from the outside which means that internal finishings are not damaged. The fixings are hidden for security and aesthetics, and the final surface of the panel can be made in stone chippings to give a durable and attractive elevation which maintains the original design appearance.

Hills Buildings Guttering

Hills buildings have a variety of guttering arrangements, and often they consisted of concrete units resting on overhanging rackets.  As these gutters have deteriorated over the years pieces of concrete can falloff them causing potential injury to anyone walking beneath them Genesis have developed a range of replacement gutters manufactured in GRP.

These can simply be fitted as straight replacements for the failed concrete gutters. The finish colour of the gutter can be chosen to fit in with a new painting scheme giving the whole building a fresh new appearance.
